The New Tire Mini Tour 2011 AND a new video

In honor of my new tires, this weekend I'll be heading to my old stomping grounds in upstate New York. First a couple solo sets; starting in Rochester at Boulder Coffee on June 16th, then in Cortland where I'll be opening up for good friends Digger Jones at The Stone Lounge on June 17th.

THEN this Saturday, June 18th, I'll be having the good fortune of playing with my band Hobson's Choice at my favorite venue (The Chapterhouse) in my favorite town (Ithaca)!!! What good fortune. Opening the show will be the new powerhouse duo, Sunday Vipers featuring Steve Gollnick and Billy Cote.

The Together Again Spring Tour 2011, Part II

Whew, after a whirlwind first part of The Together Again Spring Tour 2011, I'm back home in lovely Brooklyn, enjoying some beautiful spring weather, and getting ready for Part II of this mighty tour!!

Part II will find me teaming up with my dear friend Michaela Anne, AND I'll be playing the shows with my full band, Hobson's Choice!!!  Which is sweet.

We'll be hitting up Franklin's Tower in Albany, NY and Radio Bean in Burlington, VT as well as a private party that you're invited to in Hague, NY, just get in touch!!  For all the details, see the dates below!

To wet your whistle, check out a video I took of Michaela at her record release show a few weeks back (I got to take a break on a few tunes to just sit and listen!).  It's a slow and beautiful build of a song with a face-melting lap steel break from my dear friend Raphael McGregor.

   

The Together Again Spring Tour 2011, Part I

It's finally getting warm here in nyc and that means it's time to hit the road! Yup, this summer promises to be adventurous to say the least... :)

First up are some dates in April with my good friends The Breedings from Nashville.  Starting this Friday with what is shaping up to be a spectacular show at Bar Matchless in Brooklyn; featuring not only the Breedings, but my electric band Hobson's Choice, Serena Jean & Digger Jones (who just put out a fantastic new album!!).  Then we'll be heading south for a week of shows that I'll be playing solo sets as well as jamming with the Breedings!  Sweet.

Part II of The Together Again Spring Tour 2011 will see me making my way up north to do some co-bills with my dear friend Michaela Anne.  I'll have a full band for this leg of the tour!!  here's all the dates, click on the date for more info:
