Colorado Summer Tour 2011, brought to you by Thomas Bryan Eaton
Colorado, here I come!!!
That's right, Thomas Bryan Eaton (that's me) will be heading to the Front Range for a solo tour this August; his first tour in the Rocky Mountain state since the legendary Cletus & the Barnburners tour or 2005!! Here are the dates:
08/25 - Colorado Springs, CO
* Jives Coffee 8pm
08/26 - Denver, CO
* Cork & Coffee 7pm
08/27 - Ft. Collins, CO
* Avogadro's Number 8pm
-->opening for Spring Creek
08/28 - Boulder, CO
* The Laughing Goat 9pm
AND
In honor of such momentous occasions, Thomas has released a new edition in his live EP series, "Adventures in Motion: Part II" which features acoustic takes on three unreleased originals and one classic Delmore Brothers song available ONLY at shows!!

ALSO - I've assembled my band Hobson's Choice for a release party on Feb. 18th at Zebulon in Brooklyn. Also on the bill, Red Horse, the Crooks, and an acoustic set from Jeff Malinowski

"When You're Dancing" release show set for Feb 18th at Zebulon!!
The title just about says it all. And I'm quite excited; I truly love Zebulon and have seen some amazing shows there. This will be my first!! Sweet!
I'll be playing with my band, Hobson's Choice. Also on the bill will good friends Red Horse and a band from Austin, TX that I'm assured from reliable sources is really good. More info to follow.

"Adventures in Motion: Part I" is back from the dead!
My acoustic live EP, "Adventures in Motion: Part I" is once again available! Though this time only in digital form. AND from now until the new year, it'll be available for FREE!! Check it out here:http://thomasbryaneaton.bandcamp.com/
It's mostly a solo affair, though my dear friend Helen Gassenheimer sings some haunting harmonies on an unreleased song of mine, 'Moving Away,' and Chris Merkley and Steve Selin help me out on a rousing live take of 'When You're Dancing,' the title track on my soon to be released studio EP!

Getting Back Into It
slowly but surely...
AND my new ep, "When You're Dancing," is almost finished. I was forced to take a few steps back there, but sometimes that can be a good thing.
Check out a not quite finished mix of the title track in the music section. Sweet!
Also of note, I've got one more show at my local bar, Legion, before heading down south for a solo gig at the Purple Fiddle in West Virginia, some shows with Serena Jean in Asheville, Charleston and Nashville, and some times worth remembering at the Blackpot Festival in Lafayette!!
This is going to be fun.
